Where can I use the OneGold Card?
- The OneGold Card is accepted anywhere Mastercard is accepted, including online and in-store purchases worldwide.
How is this different from The Bullion Card?
- The OneGold Card is tied to your OneGold holdings and functions like a debit card, allowing you to spend directly from your OneGold assets. The Bullion Card is a Visa credit card that allows you to earn precious metals as rewards for everyday purchases.
Which metal gets sold when I spend? Can I choose?
- You can set your spending preferences across gold, silver, platinum, and cash. If your primary asset is fully spent, the transaction may still be completed using the next available asset in your preferred order. If no assets remain, the transaction will be declined.
Can I change my asset liquidation preferences?
- Yes. You may adjust your asset liquidation preferences (including your cash balance) at any time in the OneGold Card Settings section within the mobile app or desktop experience.
- Your asset liquidation preference is the order in which you prefer assets to be sold to support transactions on the OneGold Card. For example, if gold is set as your first preference and you make a $50 purchase, the equivalent value of gold will be liquidated to cover the transaction.
How are spot prices calculated, and when is my price locked when I swipe?
- OneGold uses real-time spot pricing at the moment of transaction. The price is locked at the time of the swipe, converting the purchase amount to the equivalent metal value based on the live spot price.
How do authorization holds, such as those placed by hotels, gas stations, rental cards, etc., work?
- OneGold will process an authorization hold by liquidating metals for the full amount under the authorization hold. If the hold reverses, OneGold will refund the deposits back into your OneGold account as a cash balance. Authorization holds will not be refunded as a metal balance.
What happens if I don't have enough assets to cover a purchase?
- If none of your selected assets have a sufficient balance to cover a transaction, the purchase will be declined. There is no overdraft or credit feature; the card is fully backed by your holdings.
Can I transfer money to friends or to another financial institutions?
- No. There is no peer-to-peer functionality or wire functionality to another financial institutions at this time.
Can I use the OneGold Card to make ATM withdrawals?
- Yes. The OneGold Card can be used at any ATM that accepts Mastercard. ATM fees may apply; refer to the fee schedule in your cardholder agreement for details.
Can I use the OneGold Card for ATM Deposits?
- No. Deposits into your OneGold account must be initiated via wire, ACH, or another linked payment method from within your OneGold profile.
Can I use the card internationally when traveling?
- The OneGold Card can generally be used for everyday purchases and ATM withdrawals anywhere Mastercard is accepted internationally. Foreign transaction fees may apply; refer to the fee schedule in your cardholder agreement.
Where do I view transactional details related to my OneGold Card?
- From the Cards section within the mobile app, or the My Account section of the website, you can view all transactional details related to your OneGold Card, including spend, ATM withdrawals, and more.
Are there any transaction limits?
- You may set your own transaction limits for the OneGold Card from within your Account Settings. Additional transaction limits from the sponsor bank may apply and can be viewed in your cardholder agreement.
